Infantry Road Traffic Management

Location: The area of study extends from Ali-Asker road (the left from Sankey tank at Raj Bhavan) to Parsi temple     junction with the Coffee Board Junction in-between. 

       

       Existing conditions on the stretch:

       1.  Road width – 10.3m
       2. Number of lanes – 3
       3. Condition of carriage way – good.
       4. Footpath surface – good in most parts.

Issues:

Vittal Mallya Road - Model Corridor Development

Objective: To support Prestige Constructions and UB Group along with other government stakeholders in the development of a model road project that can be replicated across the city.

Sequence of Activities:

September, 08 - Prestige Constructions Engineers presented  the design proposal to the BCCF board.
Nov-Dec, 08 - The plans were reviewed by the T&T team. The challenge of addressing the utility requirements and facilitating inter-agency coordination was a task that BCCF T&T team carried out with the Prestige team.
Jan - June, 09 - The plans were presented at the BTTI meetings   with the GoK to garner the support of BBMP and the other stakeholders.
September, 09 - On ground implementation begins.

K R Puram Bridge - Traffic Management

 Objective:

- To propose a solution for addressing the traffic management challenges in the vicinity.

- Bringing all the stakeholders together on reviewing the proposal and implementing the same.
